The series of standards of the international electrotechnical commission IEC 62443 on industrial automation and control systems (IACS) comprises four groups of industrial communication network standards, i.e. (1) general requirements such as compliance metrics, (2) policies and procedures such as IACS security, (3) system requirements such as security technologies and risks and, (4) component and product requirements such as product security life cycle requirements. Each group has 2 to 5 specific standard parts on process or technical needs.
For the development of quality products and industrial assets this standards series is extremely important to be supported by SMEs, Industries and research. For example, how to relate foundational requirements such as identification and authentication control (FR1) to necessary component requirements (CR) like account, identifier or, authentication management services implemented in IACS.
Contributions shall address aspects from the above mentioned realms of industrial production of IACS by scientific papers (ca. 12 pages) or industrial work-in-progress papers (ca. 6 pages).
